Napkins was an exhibition presenting an archive of monogrammed paper napkins collected over the past decade by musician and art handler Marc Ruecker. While installing and transporting artworks in the homes of collectors throughout the Chicagoland area, Ruecker began discreetly collecting custom-printed napkins from their bathrooms — each bearing the initials of its owner.
I produced the exhibition, which was presented in the storefront window of my apartment as part of a short-lived exhibition space titled A-1.
